Accolades for Tamil Sangam

VASHI: Tamil Sangam, dedicated to the propagation of Tamil literature and culture in Maharashtra, won ‘The Best Tamil Sangam’ in the World Tamil Literary Conference held in Maldives in August.
The conference highlighted the greatness of the Tamil repository of wisdom ‘Thirukkural’ and initiate its translation in the national language of Maldives.
Thirty-two representatives attended the conference.“With global and national recognitions, the Sangam is now ready to work for upliftment of the society,” said its president.
